Is it just me, or is Toronto's tipping culture spiraling into madness? I get it—servers and baristas work hard, but when I’m being asked to tip on takeout from a fast-casual joint like Fresh or on my morning coffee, it feels excessive. Why should I tip for someone handing me my order at the counter? Shouldn’t a fair wage be the norm instead? We're setting a precedent here. Make it a habit, and before you know it, we’re tipping for everything, even the guy who holds the door open. Let’s debate: Are we being generous or just plain gullible? What do you think?
