Why are so many young people leaving Toronto? The answer is simple: affordability and livability. With skyrocketing rents in areas like Kensington Market and the relentless commute from suburban sprawls, it’s no wonder they're heading to places like Waterloo, where they can afford a decent lifestyle and still thrive professionally. We need to shift our focus from tall glass towers to sustainable, inclusive communities. More green spaces, better transit, and affordable housing options could keep our youth here, instead of watching them flock to places that value their well-being. What do you think? Are we doing enough to hold onto our young talent?
