Ever notice how a simple commute can reveal so much about our city? I took the subway from Union to St. George today, and it struck me: why is it that those who are often the most marginalized seem invisible during rush hour? π The crammed cars were filled with briefcases and earbuds, yet the unsheltered folks on the platform were almost forgotten. Is it just a symptom of our busy lives, or are we actively choosing to look away? I canβt help but wonder what it would take for us to really see each other in the daily grind. What do you think?
