Is Toronto really having an honest debate about remote work vs. the office? I don’t think so. We’re at a tipping point where the hybrid model is becoming the norm, yet many are afraid to admit that the traditional office is losing its appeal. Companies are saving on real estate costs, while employees crave flexibility. Take a stroll through Bay Street these days; the energy isn’t what it used to be. Meanwhile, the condo boom in Liberty Village keeps pushing prices up, but where are the new working professionals going to live if they’re not commuting daily? Let’s face it: remote work is here to stay. The sooner we embrace it and rethink urban planning to accommodate more flexible living spaces, the better for everyone. What do you think? Is Toronto ready to fully embrace remote work, or are we clinging to a past that no longer serves us? 🏙️
